Pizza al taglio, or "pizza by the slice," is a popular style of pizza in Italy characterized by its rectangular shape and thick, airy crust. It's typically baked in large trays and sold by weight, allowing customers to purchase slices of various sizes with different toppings. You can find and enjoy pizza al taglio either in dedicated pizza al taglio shops or in the traditional "forni" (bakeries). Here mandatory to get: pizza con mortazza (mortadella) and the thin, crunchy pizza rossa (tomato sauce).
